How much does it cost?
It depends on the service and on the state of your file. We do not publish a price list: a business plan for an idea and one for a company with three years of accounts are not the same job. The initial diagnosis is free, and the quotation that follows is firm.
Can I take just one service?
Yes. Each area can be taken on its own. We will tell you if another one is needed for it to hold up — a business plan without financial projections is hard to defend at a bank — but the decision is yours.
Do I need to be in Bujumbura?
No. Much of the work is done remotely, and we work with clients based upcountry or abroad. We tell you from the outset which steps require physical presence or a power of attorney.
What languages do you work in?
English and French. Official documents are produced in the language required by the Burundian administration, and we supply you with a working version in yours.

What happens after my first request?
We come back to you within 48 working hours. The first conversation lasts about 45 minutes and is there to understand your project. You leave it with the applicable sequence and its timeline, before any commercial proposal.
How long does an engagement take?
It depends on the service and, above all, on how complete your file is. We give you a timeline after the diagnosis. In our experience delays come from missing documents far more than from administrative processing.
How am I kept informed?
Every engagement follows the same ten stages, with a named owner. You always know where you stand, what comes next, and what we need from you.

Is MABEVO a law firm?
MABEVO is a business services firm. Services constituting reserved legal acts are carried out or validated by legal professionals licensed in Burundi, with whom we work. You keep a single point of contact for the whole file.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. What you share with us is used only to handle your request and is accessible only to the people working on your file. We will sign a non-disclosure agreement if you want one, before the first conversation.
How does payment work?
On an accepted quotation, then on invoice. Terms are set out in the quotation. No payment is asked for before you have approved the proposal.
